The animal I have for my project is the giraffe.  I like this animal because the neck is long.  Giraffes have bony horns that are covered with hair.  Giraffes have black tongues.  Giraffes are so tall they can reach leaves in high trees.  Giraffes have different coat patterns.  Giraffes can eat thorns.  Giraffes share a savanna with other animals such as elephants, antelopes, and zebras.  A baby giraffe is called a calf.  A calf drinks it's mother's milk.
